    Beth Barnett, age 70, of Sedan, Kansas passed away, Sunday, March 21, 2021 at her home in Rural Sedan.

    Beth married Jerry Barnett on November 12, 1994 in Sedan, Kansas.  They made their home west of Sedan.

    Beth loved cats, gardening, and she liked listening to music.  She was a past member of the First Christian Church in Sedan.

    She is survived by her husband Jerry Barnett of the home; one son, Daniel Williamson of Rural Sedan, Kansas; two sisters, Sylvia Bills of Kaw City, Oklahoma and Annette Carson of Wichita, Kansas; one grandson, Dakota Blount of Chase County, Kansas;

    She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sherry Loy and Laura Miller; her parents and two grandchildren; Brenton Loy and Amber Miller.

    Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Sedan with Pastor Penny Goldberg officiating.

    The family has suggested memorials to the Friends of the Chautauqua County Animal Shelter and those remembrances may be left in care of the City of Sedan 111 E. Cherokee, Sedan, Kansas 67361.

    I was so sorry to learn of Beth's death. I remember the many good times my sisters and I had with Beth and her family when we were all in 4-H in Sedan. She was a beautiful person and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with Jerry, Sylvia, Annette and all of her family.
